“Stirrings of Light” - Movement & Rest A month of soft withdrawal, nervous-system reset, and gently gathering yourself before the light returns. Wednesday - Slow Flow and Yoga Nidra WEEK 1: 4th February - Settle Into the Body (Body Scan Yoga Nidra) WEEK 2: 11th February - Breath Awareness (Breath-Focused Yoga Nidra) WEEK 3: 18th February - Inner Sanctuary (Visualisation Yoga Nidra) WEEK 4: 25rd February - Deep Rest Integration (Deep Rest Yoga Nidra) What is YOGA NIDRA? Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that helps you deeply relax while remaining fully conscious. It’s a gentle way to release tension, calm the mind, and restore your body from the inside out. No prior experience is needed — you can do Yoga Nidra lying on your mat with props if you like, and it’s accessible for all levels. Just bring yourself and a willingness to rest and reconnect. What to bring? - Warm layers so you can adjust accordingly - Pillow, blankets or a hot water bottle if you really feel the cold - Water to hydrate - Maybe a journal to write down anything that come up for you if you like to do that - An open mind to the practice of Yoga Nidra and its benefits Benefits of Yoga Nidra: Deep relaxation for body and mind Stress and anxiety reduction Nervous system regulation Improved sleep and restfulness Enhanced focus and mental clarity Emotional balance and inner calm Accessible for all levels — no experience required
